Owner and Director of Performance Training
Coach Driver performs and oversees all programming and training at Mission Sports Performance. Coach Driver trains all Mission Sports adults, athletes and teams.
Owner Eric D. Driver CSCS is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA. An ’03 graduate of Adrian College, he extensively studied exercise science and the biology of human movement. Following 2 years of studying medicine in Grand Rapids, he moved back to Adrian and began working with a local orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist, while training athletes and fitness clients in the evenings. After 5 years in Sports Medicine, Eric started Mission Sports Performance and Personal Training in 2010 and then opened the county’s first Performance Strength and Conditioning Facility in the Summer of 2011.
Eric has been a featured writer for the Lenawee Pulse, guest writer for The Daily Telegram and Saline Herald. In addition to teaching Strength Training and Wellness at Jackson Community College, he has also performed presentations on motivation and various fitness related topics in the community. He has been a regular contributor to the Adrian community since beginning college here in 1999. He also has internships through Adrian College and Siena Heights University for exercise science students to learn the art of Strength and Conditioning.
Coach Frey is originally from Hudson, MI. He is currently finishing studying to take his CPT test with the NSCA. Coach Frey runs Mission Sports Adult Training programs. He also trains both the adult population and athlete population at Mission Sports Performance.
Clayton is also a recent graduate in Exercises Science, emphasizing strength and conditioning from Adrian College. He is a former intern at Mission and was also a 4 year bowler. He assists with both the adult population and athlete population at Mission Sports Performance.
Austin is a graduate of Central Michigan University, where he studied Exercise Science, emphasis on Health Fitness. He is also a former intern at Mission and competes in powerlifting. Coach Austermiller runs Mission’s Athlete Training programs He trains the adult and athlete population at Mission Sports Performance.
