Want to look better? Exercise. Want to feel happier? Exercise. Want to boost your immune system? You got it, exercise! It may not come as a surprise that there is a definitive link between exercise and your immune system, but right now, you might be struggling with fitting in workouts with some gyms still closed and spending so much time indoors. You may be like me, and can shamefully admit COVID was not my best foot forward when it came to exercise...which I'm not proud of, especially knowing the immunity link. Luckily our small group fitness gym just opened, and it's been awesome being able to get back into a routine and helping our amazing members get in their health building workouts. The best part about exercise though, is that some form of it can be done anywhere, even in the comfort of your living room or backyard, so even if your gym is not open yet, don't let the sedentary madness continue. Your immune system, skinny jeans, and genes will thank you! If you incorporate moderate exercise into your routine just three times a week, you'll benefit your immune system. It will help your cells circulate quicker, killing more viruses and bacteria, and even help clear out waste from your body. The best part about these immune-boosting benefits is that they are long term, and you'll be able to benefit from it for years to come. There are a few other benefits of incorporating exercising for immune-boosting effects.

Slows Down your Cellar Age

Did you know that the Telmores (the caps on your chromosomes control how rapidly your body ages and become shorter as we get older? This may sound like Greek to you, but it is ultra-important when it comes to how old you look and feel. Basically, if you don't take care of your body, those Telmores will rapidly get shorter much sooner, and you will age quicker!! I don't know about you, but I definitely want to avoid that from happening. No one wants to age any quicker than they absolutely have to!When you incorporate regular exercise into your routine, you'll slow down your chromosomes' aging process. Studies have shown that there is even a positive correlation to people who exercise regularly and the length of time it takes the telomeres to shorten. It's a much slower rate then if you don't incorporate exercise. For me, there is no question that we should incorporate exercise to help slow the clock and leave a long and healthy life, and that is why exercise is coined the fountain of youth! It's a no brainer, right?

Recovery Time Helps With Immune Boosting Benefits

I cannot stress enough the importance of taking time to let your body recover in between workouts. R3bilts fitness philosophy is built on science, starting at the cellular level, which helps to teach our gym-goers and readers like you that it's important to push yourself for big health gains, but not overdo intensity, duration, and frequency while you're working out. Think of it this way. Your body is a car, and it needs to be refueled before you head out on the road. You would never try driving your car on an empty tank, so why would you try and do that to yourself? Instead, get better results and health by working out smarter and recovering fully in between workouts. It's essential that you allow your muscles and joints to take time to recharge and build up cellular energy so you can avoid any injuries. Always always take the time to incorporate stretching and yoga after your workouts so you can speed the recovery process, and get the best results both physically and mentally during your workouts. There are many other amazing hacks to recovering from a workout quicker, that athletes use daily, like compression, vibration, or red light therapy. Many of which we have at our gym R3Bilt, and I'm excited they are becoming more popular, as they are so effective!

Incorporate Walking Into Your Routine

Not only is walking beneficial for your health, it's also a great way to schedule in some much needed time to catch up with your family and friends, or to just clear your head. [2] On the days that you're recovering, spend some time with someone you love and go for a long walk. This is one of my favorite things to do, and I always feel more energized and happier after. Walking regularly will help improve your cardiac health, alleviates depression, improve your mood, and much more. It's also a great form of exercise that will help keep your immune in tip-top shape. The immunity-boosting benefits of exercise are another huge benefit, so it's time to get out there and regulate your immune system.

Supplements Can Help Boost Your Immune System

Our bodies rarely acquire all the vitamins and minerals that we need to stay healthy and strong due to diet and lifestyle. This, unfortunately, can cause sickness or dysfunction over time. Thankfully reputable supplements are a good option to make sure you're getting all the right amounts of nutrients that you need. Because supplements are not regulated in the US, and some can do more harm than good, you should only put third-party tested, clean ingredients in your body. I am picky about my vitamin sources, and Thorne is one of my trusted sources. They offer clean, safe, and high-quality supplements to give you confidence that you're taking the best care of your body. some of my favorite immune-boosting Thorne supplements are combined in this cost savings bundle.I use many of their products, and I want to make sure you have access to making good/clean supplement choices too!
